Patrick Roy, Guy Carbonneau or Michel Therrien?

Patrick Roy will be meeting with GM Marc Bergevin and Senior Vice President of Hockey Operations Serge Savard before Monday and unless something major happens, expect him to become the coach. If something does go wrong, the next two candidates for the job, is former Penguins coach Michel Therrien and Chicoutimi Sagueneens President Guy Carbonneau. Both of them have had experience being the head coach of the Habs with Therrien being the coach from 2001-2003 and Carbonneau being the head coach from 2006-2009.

To sum it up, if all goes down correctly, Roy will be the next coach. If it fails, Therrien will be the second choice, and Carbonneau the third choice. Right now, any anglophone coach is being disregarded because GM Bergevin would prefer a French speaking coach.

Do you think these coaches are the right choices? Comment Below!

Alain Vigneault's Job is Safe?

There are talks and murmurs out in the west that Alain Vigneault will be meeting with GM Mike Gillis next week and that Gillis will be giving him a vote of confidence. This is a significant blow to teams looking for coaches as he would have been the crown jewel of the coaches available.
