With the recent firing of Ron Wilson, Brian Burke has got to be a bit nervous. If he was able to let go of the 2010 silver medalist coach and good friend, then it wouldn't be hard for the ownership to fire Burke. Burke made no big moves during the trade deadline, something nobody expected. the one thing Burke has for him is a good record. He helped faltering organizations and re-establish talent elsewhere (Sedin Twins going to Vancouver, Hartford suddenly in contention to draft Pronger, anahiem winning the cup). However his magic hasn't been working with the leafs. He was in the Nash race but couldn't pull it off. However, he'll have a chance this summer.
